My wife and I danced our first dance as husband and wife to this song 10/28/2017. She wore the most beautiful red wedding dress trimmed with black lace I’ve ever seen. I’ll never ever forget that night and how we felt ❤❤

My dear aunt loved this song, there’s only 12 year’s difference in years between us. She was my guardian angel here on earth and now my guardian angel in heaven as well, passed away in 2007. There’s not a day that pass by that I don’t think about her. RIP my beloved aunt.

Wife and I had been together for 10 years when this song came out. We were attending a very dressy family anniversary party for which she had chosen a stunning red outfit for the occasion. She was the organizer and left before I got home. When I walked in and saw her I thought my heart was going to stop, she was gorgeous. Family members were coming up to me all night and telling me how beautiful she was. We danced to this song and all I could think about was that I am the happiest guy in the world. Still together with the love of my life and tears come to my eyes when I hear this song. The words are on a plaque on our bedroom wall.

I will always remember this beautiful song I was riding my bike listening to it on my Walkman riding across a bridge in Wales when the bridge collapsed and my bike fell away from me to the water below luckily I got the seat of my pants caught on some sort of metal bracket and I was dangling for over one hour before help arrived! This song still playing in my ears, I will never forget it.

Oh my! This song takes me away to 1987. It was in Seattle and I was attending a seminar on fiber optics. I worked at the FAA in communications. Anyway, my boyfriend was in Seattle too, we went to the Thirteen Coins restaurant. Later we went dancing and I was wearing a red dress made of a fine swollen knit with a full circle skirt. The top was a boat neck bodice with close fitting long sleeves. Very plain dress, just zipped the up the back. The DJ played this song and we danced as if we were alone. I loved that man so much! We are still in contact all these years later. I am a widow and he lives in another state with his wife. We are in our 80s and late 60s, not much chance of getting back together. Life happens, but this song reminds me to cherish my memories.

My mom loves this song and so did some of her close friends (a lovely couple) the husband used to sing it beautifully. I grew up listening to it and watching them dance to it. Today was her friends funeral (the wife). They dressed her in red as now she can meet her husband in heaven... his lady in red. Rest in peace Emma and Mike❤️

Can't listen without shedding a slight tear because my Dad loved this song as because it reminded him of my mother. Unfortunately they broke up when I was 2 and my mom went onto marry an amazing man who became my step dad and now an even greater poppy to my daughters. I lost my Dad suddenly in 2002 from sudden cardiac arrest when he was just 46 and I was 18. He passed just 3 months before my 1st of 3 daughters was born. Now I have 3 gorgeous and healthy girls and I surely taught them about him and danced to this song with them all in his honor. It means the world to me.
