개인적인 생각에 이 노래가 왜 이리 중독적인 걸 넘어서 가슴을 울컥하게 하는지 의아했는데, 이 노래의 주제가 힐링이란 것을 깨달았습니다. 다들 알고 계시는데 뒷북인가요?
가사도 그런 면이 있고 작곡가이자 싱어인 EJAE님도 음악치료사가 꿈이라고 이야기 했었죠. 멜로디와 음색으로 치유가 되는 것 같아요. 왠지 모르게 울컥하고 때로는 눈물마저 납니다.
많은 커버를 들어봤지만 정말 잘하시는 분들도 있었고, 원곡과 다르게 자기만의 해석으로 부르는 것도 좋았지만, 정작 힐링에 중점을 둔 커버는 들어보지 못한 것 같아요. 다시 원곡으로 돌아오게 되는 이유가 바로 이 힐링 때문이 아닐까 싶네요.
