I used to feel insecure about my voice, and felt like my voice was not good enough for singing. Ejae has become one of my biggest inspirations. Last year I've made an approach towards singing, although I was unsure if I could turn things around. Now I feel more confident about my vocals. Even if it's not perfect, I'm not worried. I feel at ease and believe that I can achieve everything as long as I put my mind and heart into it.

She's the prime example of "it's never to late no matter the age" keep doing what you love

So I came to visit the singer's channel to check her voice.
Almost after 10 seconds, I spotted 'Okay, 보통 분이 아니구나', so I'll skip now to revisit and listen to her voice in the late night, in a quiet room. Because it's noisy outside now..

Hi I just wanted to take some time to thank Ejae for her role in Kpop demon hunters. Your voice has literally reignited my passion for music. Growing up I thought I was incapable of using my musical talent to actually make music. For almost my entire teenage years, I always compared myself to other singers and musicians and thought they were better than me. That was obviously not true,
And I realized that when I first watched Kpop demon hunters. I deeply related to Rumi and the music made me feel happy, loved, powerful and seen. I always thought that my voice and my range was too different and awful. But when I listened to golden and learned it in one summer, not only hitting the notes but learning to sing Korean so fast, I realized that my voice is unique and very powerful. I am a Christian also, and I use your music to fight through my pain, my doubts, and as inspiration to make my own music. There are not enough words to express how grateful I am for you. God made you for amazing purposes and one of them was helping me break free from the lie that I wasn’t good enough. I believe you are changing so many lives and I am so excited to see what you do next. I hope to some day meet you in the future, if it is God’s will. I pray that so many people shower you with love and give you so much happiness. You are my current role model and keep being yourself.

SM kept her hidden because they knew how good she was. They don’t want her to overshadow others. Her voice and soul are beautiful.

I’m a 44 year old man. I’m not rich. I’m blue collar. I’m a recovered addict. I lost my fiancé 12 years ago. Needless to say, to pull myself up and get through day to day I had to shut a part of myself. I have had to compartmentalize my emotions. Like many other men im sure. I have no idea why this song and ejae in general does it but I’ve sat here crying and feeling emotions for the past 15 minutes that I haven’t been able to let myself feel in years. I’ve heard good emotional singers before. So no idea why ejae is the one to break me. I pray she is able to keep making music and doing it her way. I will listen to anything this woman puts out…as soon as I pull myself together

I'm close to 65, and never in my life has any singer made me cry so often. You are transcendent. So much power, hope, and emotion. Thank God they didn't debut you. You put that strong work ethic into learning songwriting and musicology, and now you are so much more than a single genre called K-pop. You're universal. Thank you.
