Alice Cooper - Poison

YOU Know. YOU. . Like IT. 👁️💋💋

Someone commented why was the music so much better in the seventies eighties nighties he's the answer fucking awesome musician's they don't make them like this anymore!!!!!

Just saw Alice in Niagara Falls last night. Absolutely amazing. His band is as tight as ever.

I can’t believe I’m still alive to share this story, but I hope it helps people. When this song came out I was in and out of jail, addicted, and homeless. Now I have a husband, home and good job. This song and “Clover Cage - Faith In The Fire” are the two songs that helped me get through my depression. I just want people to know things do get better. We are in this together

Can we go back to the 80’s and stay there please?

Anyone 2026 ?

Alice is never too loud we need the 24 bit 96 Khz remaster on all his hits.

52 years here! Who's still rockin this?

When I was 13 years old (way back in 1974) I wrote a fan letter to Alice & got an autographed picture in return. I don't know if it was actually signed by him but I treasured it for years.

Some songs don’t get older. We do. That’s what makes them hurt differently.

this song is such a mood
😅

This is seriously such a great song.

Golfed with him in 2010, I’ll never forget that day.

Hugest compliment I EVER received....in 2002, hé played in Paris. I was a 24 yo blonde girl, first row.
I was lighting a cigarette during this song.

He stopped, put the mic away and pointed at me sayin' : "You ARE damn little poison".

July the 1 2026 Alice Cooper's Poison still number one

When you are a gen x mom that raised a millennia daughter and a gen z daughter to love this mans music. I feel so proud 😂

Can we stop with the anyone watching this year, posts please !! The answer is yes!!! We are always watching!!! FOREVER!!!!!

Who plans to be here in 2027?

Some songs don’t age — they just crawl under your skin and stay there.
This one still hits like venom in the best way.

Talk about being a legend for decades. Incredible.

I absolutely love the sound of the guitar in this song, especially the opening. There's no doubt for me personally that the music in the 70's and 80's will never be matched.

Both Alice cooper and Ozzy Osbourne are two of the great godfathers of metal music

This is one of Alice coopers best songs

This goes back to a time when the music videos are just as good as the music. Turn it up and share with your neighbors!

Man I miss the 80s

Who's here in 2026?

i'm BEGGING anyone who's even slightly lost in life to read Manifest the Unseen by Luna Rivers. i'm not kidding when i say it cracked me open in the best way. i'm crying and healing and evolving all at once ❤

" I wanna hurt you just to hear you screaming my name." One of my favorite metal lyrics of all time. ❤

I met Alice Cooper when I was working as a security guard backstage at one of his shows. The man brought me a roast beef sandwich and some other snacks because he noticed I did not have my dinner that night while working. If you see this comment Alice. You probably don't remember but I do. Thanks again man. I worked molson amphitheater backstage concert security in toronto, on, about 22 years ago, it was great meeting you that day. You're the only celebrity that did that for me during my time working there. I never forget that.

The backing vocal harmonies are what makes this song a masterpiece.

The 80's wasn't a decade, it was an emotion. The iconic voices of some rock singers are just... unforgettable.

Alice Cooper is now 76 and hosts a radio show. He didn't retire, and I love his continuing work.

The golden age of music.

when I heard this song when I was 15 I knew I was a metalhead/rocker for life!! 35yrs later, still am!! Thank you Alice!!

Alice is one of the best singers, that makes sound from his gut from push and pull his tone just gives me the chills

I really hope certain creations won't ever be truly lost and forgotten, they deserve to stay around, be heard and seen by future generations.

Im gonna show this to my kids, and my kids are gonna show it to my grand kids, so ALICE COOPER never dies!

Happy 76th birthday, Alice Cooper

That opening guitar, the pain and anguish in Alice's voice, fantastic!, this is a masterpiece

2024 still listening to this classic

I'm still here in 2024...still love Alice Cooper❤

70's 80's and 90's rock was the best era of music.

This song has so many chord changes, as a guitarist, I am so in love with the progression, truly a masterpiece musically.

LYRICS:

Your cruel device
Your blood like ice
One look could kill
My pain, your thrill

I wanna love you, but I better not touch (don't touch)
I wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
I wanna kiss you, but I want it too much (too much)
I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
You're poison running through my veins
You're poison
I don't wanna break these chains

Your mouth so hot
Your web, I'm caught
Your skin, so wet
Black lace, on sweat

I hear you calling and it's needles and pins (and pins)
I wanna hurt you just to hear you screaming my name
Don't wanna touch you, but you're under my skin (deep in)
I wanna kiss you but your lips are venomous poison
You're poison running through my veins
You're poison
I don't wanna break these chains
Poison

One look (one look)
Could kill (could kill)
My pain, your thrill

I wanna love you, but I better not touch (don't touch)
I wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
I wanna kiss you, but I want it too much (too much)
I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
You're poison running through my veins
You're poison
I don't wanna break these chains
Poison

I wanna love you, but I better not touch (don't touch)
I wanna hold you, but my senses tell me to stop
I wanna kiss you, but I want it too much (too much)
I wanna taste you but your lips are venomous poison
I don't wanna break these chains
Poison (poison)
Runnin' deep inside my veins
Burnin' deep inside my brain
Poison (poison)
I don't wanna break these chains
Poison

I love how the 80's visual aesthetic was so intentionally campy and over the top that it goes all the way around to become ironically immortalized as the sexiest, most stylish thing in history. And the fact that glam metal like this and Italo-disco reached their peak at roughly the same period always blows my mind.

One of the best pieces in the history of rock music. Congratulations Alice !!!

One of the greatest rock songs of all time.

My class: She's so innocent
My earphones:Your mouth, so hot
Your web, I'm caught
Your skin, so wet
Black lace, on sweat

"I don't wanna break these chains"

Does that make him Alice in Chains?

You know what I really love? That this comment section is still active. Shows that good music never dies
