We all want to go back but, we can't... just happy I got a chance to be apart of this time period.

If you're still here in 2026, you're amazing and have a lovely taste in music. Breaking Benjamin was one of my first favorites and they're a band I will always come back to, even years down the road, just like now. See you over and over again...into another decade + years.❣

Aug 2026, here I am, still listening.

Happy 20th to the 🐐 emo rock song

Lead singer Benjamin Burnley revealed that the track was inspired by true crime documentaries, specifically episodes of Forensic Files. He watched a story about an unidentified woman—a "Jane Doe"—who washed up on a shore and was buried without anyone ever knowing her name, her history, or her identity.

*if you're still listening in 2026 you're a legend*

2026 anyone?

Take me back to this era . I miss this whole era was a blast

BB, This was me and my wife’s first date, their concert with 3 days Grace like 16 years ago. Now we are Taking our 10 yr old son to watch them in April with Staind for his first rock show ever.

Whether you first heard this song 17 years ago, 3 years ago or just discovered it now. It doesn't matter. I'm genuinely happy for you

My freshman year of college, I saw Breaking Benjamin in concert with Seether and Three Days Grace. The group I went with included a girl who lived down the hall from me in the dorms. She didn't know it at the time, but I had a huge crush on her. Fast forward 17 years, we've got two kids and just celebrated our 13th anniversary. I'll always have a soft spot for this song.

Stop asking who's still listening, we never stop listening. This song is one of those songs that just stays in your memory, forever.

lyrics😭..
If I had to, I would put myself right beside you
So let me ask, would you like that?
Would you like that?
And I don't mind if you say this love is the last time
So now I'll ask, "Do you like that?"
Do you like that?
No
Something's getting in the way
Something's just about to break
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane
So tell me how it should be
Try to find out what makes you tick
'Cause I lie down sore and sick, do you like that?
Do you like that?
There's a fine line between love and hate
And I don't mind, just let me say that I like that
I like that
Something's getting in the way
Something's just about to break
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane
As I burn another page
As I look the other way
I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane
So tell me how it should be
Desperate, I will crawl
Waiting for so long
No love, there is no love
Die for anyone
What have I become?
Something's getting in the way
Something's just about to break
I will try to find my place in the diary of Jane
As I burn another page
As I look the other way
I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane

16 years , I hope Benjamin found his place in the diary of Jane! ❤
