Five Finger Death Punch - House Of The Rising Sun

They also support military and suicide awareness a lot, to me that always stood out from the rest of the heavy rock metal bands I had seen before, they were my second metal band I found behind slipknot and they definitely stood out to me, I have the lyrics from “never enough” tattooed on my ribs as my first tattoo, it says “in the end we are all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away, for the time that I’ve been given I am what I am”

"🧬Knock🧬 Knock."🧬IVEN!🧬Boo!🧬IVEN..."

"🧬Hello🧬IVEN."

Another badass video!

If you're here for the cover, it starts at 2:10

Skip to 1:44 to get the start of the actual song.

My dad's favorite song ever! We played it at his funeral.

This music is for those who love deeply and live for love. 💖🎸

THE INTRO NEEDS TO BE IN THE SONG

0:11 was my first untersuchen to end as a kid

I've been listening to the best contemporary metal bands for a long time: Fear Factory, Machine Head, SOAD, Korn, Disturbed, Trivium, etc. And yet, from the first time I heard them to this day, I am convinced that FFDP are different from the rest, undoubtedly one of the best bands!

This song only can be sung by voices like those because they have to be as powerful as the message of its lyrics, the story it contains stands clear through them

The start threw me off but it was worth the wait 🙂

This song remaiding me of my best friend..His voice..His stragellingn of his life..

2025 anyone? 🤘

2025 anyone?

My mum loved this version that much she said to play it at her funeral. And u know I played it for her . Love n miss ya mum

They played it yesterday at the Metallica concert

I'm old now.

We carry stars within our bones, you see, Each ache, each scar, a constellation’s plea. And when the night feels heavy, skies ablaze, Remember, dear heart, you’re part of stardust’s maze.

Now do a full album like the intro 😜

You all should know me because I love the video of the rising sun

I wish this version was on spotify

Please do a recording where you say “New Orleans”

HOW do i like this song 100.000.000. TIMES ???????

Every bar on Okinawa played this allot when I was their 1979-80 badass song !!! Brings back good memories , 12th Marines Oooorah

As a oif veteran, I just want to say thank you for everything that you have done for us veterans and active duty military. Not to many people go out of their way to do shows for us. And you guys did alot of shows for us when we were in Iraq. It meant alot. God bless all of you.

This was my uncles favourite song so we played this on his funeral, so this song means a lot to me❤️

That 12 valve in the beginning is sick tho (the car with the black soot is a 5.9L Cummins, 12 Valve P7100 Bosch injection pump, 6BT or P-Pump for the nickname)

Them twin turbo's make it even better.

Five Finger Death Punch - House Of The Rising Sun

[Intro]
There is a house in Sin City
They call the Rising Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And, God—I know I'm one

[Verse 1]
My mother was a tailor
She sewed my new blue jeans
My father was a gambling man
Down in Sin City

[Solo]

[Verse 2]
Now, the only thing a gambler needs
Is a suitcase and a trunk
And the only time he's satisfied
Is when he's on a drunk

[Verse 3]
Well, I've got one foot on the platform
The other is on the train
I'm going back to Sin City
To wear that ball and chain

[Solo]

[Verse 4]
Well, others, tell your children
Never do what I have done
Spend your lives in sin and misery
In the House of the Rising Sun
In the House of the Rising Sun

[Outro]
Well, there's a house in Sin City
They call the Rising Sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy
And God knows that I am one

My nerf gun heard this now it’s a flamethrower minigun

Can you imagine how fun it must’ve been to film this video?

The start of this song needs to be a full song.

I wish the intro to this song could become a song one day,

The hardstep beginning was confusing. But holy heck in a handbasket the actual song kicked off properly.

i would pay to make this a movie just from the cut before the starting of the real song

I played this next to my broke down S10 and it grew 10 ton axles, an over-fuelled Cummins, 4 light bars, and an exo-cage

The music video for this just gives me chills, it's so well made and I absolutely love it's vibe, I wanna thank my parents for showing me this awesome band, their songs always lift me up when I am down

This looks straight outta mad max

"So we've got the idea for three videos, but only the budget for one. Here's the mock-ups for Mad Max, a casino heist, and Burning Man."
FFDP: Right, let's do this.
"Wait wha---"

5 finger death punch , has always had a great gift of song. Thank you !

Damn. That was better quality than 90 percent of most modern post-apocalyptic movies.

The beginning of this song needs to be the theme for an entire album! That grind .. that beat .. with kind of EDM vibe! It was good! This is one of my favorite versions of this song!

Honestly this needs to be turned into a full length movie...

This video looks like the action takes place in a post-COVID world.

I first heard this song in 1964. I was painting my Grand fathers Tacoma house during the summer . I did not like it because it didnt sound like music that I knew. After hearing it a couple times I was hooked. Love this song. I was going to buy tickets to see this band , but our state is in lockdown with Covid-19. I am 70 & I love this music.

I was only expecting a remake of House of the Rising Sun. Imagine my surprise when it first started lol

Roses are red
Violets are blue
When I listen to death punch
My city does too
