0
@gugagame

Definitely works! Wukong benchmark on high went from 85 fps to 135 fps. I felt some games had an increase FPS performance while others averaged the same as before but a bit more stable

@carloaquino3471

did all the steps except for the tweak bc im a bit scared of 3rd party apps. but still boosted my fps. tried spamming skills on valorant before, my fps dropped to 400, but after this optimisation guide the minimum of my fps after spamming skills in 600 to 750. so i know this guide really helped me. thank you!!

Bro i have a 5070 playing on a 240hz 34 ultra wide oled monitor , i was playing batman lego and my frames with frame gen on max and high quality was between 100-120 and sometimes during cut scenes dropping to 30 i literally did what u did as best as i can and let me tell you this i reduced frame gen to 2x pushed up everything to epic settings and upscaling quality from ultra performance to balanced and now im playing it at 190-205 fps and i have room to have better quality but sacrificing fps u don’t know how much u helped me bro because instead of balance i can put it to quality and play on 170-180 FPS and on balanced its 190-205 u literally made me realize my PC ain’t bad its just i have a ultra wide monitor so it demands more and these tweaks literally helped me enjoy a better quality of gaming while having better performance and i can also play fps games better now for sure

@Bruhmomento_2001

Guys be careful, did Cinebench before and got a higher score than after, it had to do with SMT disabling . So before changing anything i advise you benchmark ur pc and then do each and every optimization alone and benchmark after each step. To rule out the part where it gives you bad performance.

@koldsage

this absolutely fried my pc

@amiratak3292

Gave me a slight boost in my fps lows, and also 200mb less usage. Thanks for this guide.

@XTHHedgehog

DAMN. Used to get around 70FPS high settings with raytracing and the like with Fortnite. These settings got me closer to 110FPS with those same settings. Time to do the same with my Mom's PC!

@desoozah

i absolutely had to come back and leave a comment after finishing this and following every step, THANK YOU. I was struggling BAD. hard stuck at around 80-90fps in warzone running at 1080p with my 3080 and 5800X. made absolutely no sense. I tried everything and nothing was working. my frames have pretty much near doubled now and im sitting at an average of 140-150fps. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

@FilipeCamara-mk7wv

That is the BEST tutorial of optimization i've ever seen!!! I was having issues with Silent Hill F and other UE5 games with stutters/micro-stutters. After doing almost everything on the video (personal preference) the frame time is as clean as it can be. Thank you so much.

@yocstar

@Pickled1Juice

The recent Widows updates absolutely axed my laptop's performance but these tweaks helped with alleviating some of the damage. Great video!

1
@epicmanomg

I went from 200 average to 143 thanks to this I only followed about half as well

1
@ZeranPlay

Thank you so much, I've tried it, and my FPS has increased and there's no more stuttering. Now I play Arc Raider much smoother. You're a living legend.

2
@francstack

generaly do not leave a like in videos because i feel like nothing changed but this one deserves it. Congrats bro Awsome video

0
@lvlovekebab

It actually helped me. So, before these tweaks, my ram usage was around 5.6gb while screensharing on dc and now when I do the same, it shows 4.9gb so definitely a huge improvement for my budget pc with 8gb ram.

This is the first video I gave a thumbs up this year

@nikkikoch2345

Im glad to finally find a good video that isn’t just temp and prefetch

@m_emetube

As of Feb. 5, this guide works very well. I play on a i7-11800h RTX 3050Ti 16 gb DDR5 ram laptop, increased my fps by around 40.

0
@iMirage_i

My build: Ryzen 5 5600X + RTX 2070 32gb ram 3200mhz.
I was playing Warzone at around 100 FPS. After following basically all the recommendations from the video, it’s now running at around 140 FPS.
That’s insane bro 🤠

1
@HairyHominid

This has solved one issue (inconsistent frame time) I've been trying to fix for months and improved quality and performance I didn't know could or should be improved. The smoothness is beautiful to behold. Amazing!!!!!!

@natakritgaming6313

This is actually a Windows optimization video with everything you need, is highly researched and easy to execute.

@Pipsispite

Great guide!

Keep in mind the 'Power management mode' in the Nvidia control panel on 'Prefer maximum performance' could also lower your FPS in CPU bound games on gaming laptops as your GPU will always be given it's maximum wattage allowing less to go to your CPU in a game like Valorant or CS. Leave it on 'Normal' for laptops so your laptops built in management can dynamically choose which component to feed power.
