Android has got to be the least intuitive operating system ever created. My phone vibrates and makes a noise, so I open it and there is no indication of why it attracted my attention, I have ti go hunting for texts or notifications, it's about as intuitive as a cryptic crossword.

The buttons are completely different on my TeraCube 2E (2021 purchases) ... I hope you made an up to date video because you sound so clear and knowledgeable about Androids. My POS iPhones have all died or broke over time. And frankly they just cost too much anymore.

Have you noticed most of these 'basics' videos never cover how to use your smartphone... as an actual phone?

Thank you for posting this video! Yeah, I know, it is 2021, and I'm just now getting my first smartphone. Go ahead and laugh all you want. Want to laugh even more? I'm keeping my flip phone and only using the Moto G as an Android "mini-tablet" to acquire and make use of some particular apps unavailable for a Windows OS. It was cheaper than an actual Android tablet and will get the job done for my needs. Color me analog, but there's a lot to be said for simplicity and reliability... and freedom "from" technology, which is terribly invasive. We don't all need to be "plugged in" 24/7. To some of us, that would be a living hell.

*it's all enough to drive an old man over the cliff. lost my sanity trying to figure all this simple stuff out. my brain is now broke and disabled*

This video. is pretty much outdated but it has some basic concepts. was introduced to Android in September of 2013 when I bought a Jellybean seven inch tablet that didn't support the Play store. later I got one that did support it.
I didn't actually get a phone until July 2018. Thr highest Android I have is Android 9.
A lot has happened over the coarse of time.
Msny of the features that come with the phone are replaceable. For the brave at heart the whole operating system can be replaced. This however is for more advanced users.
For highest security you probably want an iPhone. For something you can do more things with you want an Android.

Bless your heart for trying (as well as) having the patience to do this for others.

I'm currently in a position where I live with an 82 year old grandmother- paired w/ my 54 year old best friend- who knows less than she does about the basics of tech.

What I want to know :
Where is the ''click '', 'send ', etc equivalent buttons ; and how do you find things like what you've code scanned , so that you can bring it up to show, when you want to use it ?????
