Based on logic if a person says give me your passcode or we will kill you I would immediately say if you shoot me you will never get the code since I’m dead and I would still deny them the code.

Be aware that if you have and older iOS, the hidden folder in Photos is not actually hidden, nor encrypted! You can access all the hidden photos by connecting your iPhone to a computer, even Windows, and opening the folders there, without any locks! To actually hide photos effectively, you could paste them in a Note, and lock it. That will be encrypted and fully locked for real!

5 power button presses OR holding power button and a volume button will trigger the Emergency SOS feature, which calls the police! Be careful with that!!

A better trick for what you actually wanted to achieve si to tap on the small emergency button at the bottom of the pin pad, and then tap on Medical ID at the bottom, then exit and FaceID will be locked

What IOS does have these settings?
I don't have apple phone, but if i bought one, what's the least IOS to get to obtain these settings?

Google does it better. As soon as it detect unusual movement, asks for password. Whe ever my kid takes it, or was left unattended, picked by stranger, high security level is enabled automatically. Android is on higher software security level than Apple for long time.

Face ID is not 4th Amendment protected in the USA. Passcode needs a warrant to compel you to disclose it.

They need to disable the ability to power off, turn off cellular data or activate flight mode without a PIN or biometrics. Yet another feature Android has had for years. This way you can track your phone until the battery dies and when the thief/dealer plugs it in, it will power on and be traceable again. Such a simple fix

Advising people to comply with a robber is a good way to get you to no longer to be valuable to them anymore since then they’d have everything of yours and letting you go would be risking that. You are advising people to end up buried in a forest if they are robbed instead of a black eye. Stick to tech advice.

I was going to say as well for people just seeing his video alone I notice you have the same setting off in Face ID and passcode section like me for control centre.
If someone just steals your phone then they can’t easily put your phone into airplane mode as the control centre won’t be accessible.
All most recent iPhones have the findmy still working even when powered down but not being able to access control centre will give you more valuable time to track with various other methods as well

I've seen this on my timeline and thought, "Great, another video about iPhone 'hacks' ", which are just regular settings. Your video was very informative and refreshing. I've been following you for some time, as well as others in this space. This was new, and I learned a lot. GOOD JOB!

A quick addition I wanna make to the Screen Time trick, there's a setting to block the changing of settings related to Find My's "Share My Location" feature. You should flip that to Not Allow as well.

ALSO, the Screen Time trick is useful on Apple devices which do not support Stolen Device Protection!

Of course, there’s always “Lockdown Mode”. I have yet to hear anyone explain exactly what this does or exactly how it impacts the normal use of your phone.

I have used screen time to remove Face ID and account settings for a while now and will certainly slow down any thief who may get your phone. You are the only person I have seen mention this setting on you tube.

With mobile/cellular data locked, it's true you can not change those settings but a thief could still enable airplane mode. :(

Face ID won't work if you're not looking at your phone. Just look away.
