I need to be honest about something.. When this came out I was in and out of jail, addicted, and homeless. Now I have a husband, home and good job. This song and “Clover Cage - Midnight Blues In Boston” are the two songs that helped me get through my depression. I just want people to know things do get better. We are in this together… 🥳 we are one. And we will win

Está canción me recuerda justo hace 7 años conocí a alguien que destruyó mí confianza mí autoestima y me pidió en la primera cita que le creyera. No debí haberle creído. Me siento como la bailarina que sigue bailando aunque el hombre no la registra no la ve,no la escucha ,no la atiende. Pero ella como yo junto sus pedazos y se hizo más fuerte y sabia y ya no cree,ya solo espera que la máscara se caiga sola. 7 años después sobreviví a un desamor que creí que se había llevado todo lo que yo era. Pero no pudo. Mí alma y mí ser son mucho más puros de lo que yo creía. Lo escribo para hacer honor a esta canción que representa para mí esa puerta del final donde todo se acabó para ella y el sigue su vida sin sentido o mejor dicho sin dirección. Ella siembargo sale por la puerta dignamente y sigue hacia otro rumbo. El que Dios quiera para ella. Que no es ni era el.
