3I'm miss this era
This song got me through my childhood trauma
5"How many likes is my life worth?" Hit hard
16Now that I’m listening to this again and actually paying attention to the lyrics, I’m realizing how true this song is unfortunately.
68Seriously, if we start sharing this music, it will definitely reach more people. This is one of the best songs.
28 years ago I was 13 years old….. where is our childhood?
7Everytime someone likes my comment I will get back to this song 😊
66We said goodbye to our teenage years with this song
1anyone in 2026? 🥶🥶
886"Don't believe in narcissism when everyone projects and expects you to listen to them." is the most realest thing I've heard in a minute
117 years later still A BANGER!!
3My life’s insane. The same way I was just trying to go to court and ppl made it a theatre with overturned semis. 8 emergency vehicles and cranes. Is why I’m even on my way to court to begin with.
3this song hits so much different now that im older
37 years ? Time flies
4We don't search for old songs we search for old memories !
104Piano is doing so much work for me in this song.

517[Verse 1]
I'm from the east side of America
Where we choose pride over character
And we can pick sides, but this is us, this is us, this is
I live on the west side of America
Where they spin lies into fairy dust
And we can pick sides, but this is us, this is us, this is
[Refrain]
And don't believe the narcissism
When everyone projects and expects you to listen to 'em
Make no mistake, I live in a prison
That I built myself, it is my religion
And they say that I am the sick boy
Easy to say when you don't take the risk, boy
Welcome to the narcissism
Yeah, we're united under our indifference
[Verse 2]
And I'm from the east side of America
Where we desensitize by hysteria
And we can pick sides, but this is us, this is us, this is
I live on the west side of America
Where they spin lies into fairy dust
And we can pick sides, but this is us, this is us, this is
[Chorus]
I am the, I am the, I am the sick boy
I am the, I am the, I am the sick boy
(I'm from the east side of America)
They say that I am the sick boy
(I live on the west side of America)
And they call me the sick boy
[Refrain]
Don't believe the narcissism
When everyone projects and expects you to listen to 'em
Make no mistake, I live in a prison
That I built myself, it is my religion
And they say that I am the sick boy
Easy to say when you don't take the risk, boy
Welcome to the narcissism
Where we're united under our indifference
[Bridge]
Feed yourself with my life's work
How many likes is my life worth?
Feed yourself with my life's work
How many likes is my life worth?
Feed yourself with my life's work
How many likes is my life worth?
Feed yourself on my life's work
How many likes is my life worth?
[Pre-Chorus]
I'm from the east side of America
I am the, I am the, I am the sick boy
I live on the west side of America
I am the, I am the, I am the sick boy
I'm from the east side of America
They say that I am the sick boy
I live on the west side of America
Yeah, they call me the sick boy
sing song😍😍🔥🔥
Oh man I remember when I went to my friend's house 3 years ago and he introduced this song to me and out of nowhere I remembered this masterpiece I miss the times when we could live life to the fullest without thinking of any consequences what so ever.
72A message to the future generations. Don't let this song die.
5,361Rip the person that had to edit this 😢😪😔
160Plot Twist: The monsters when they get hit by the light is actually them. They just accidentally leaked it
539"Easy to say when you don't take a risk boy" - 🌝
75This song is far more complex than some will give it credit for, stands for us as a whole. If you're a little different than everyone, you're sick. Put a meaning like that on a badass combative type sound, and you've got gold. Good show, boys
954"How many likes is my life's worth?" This sends shivers down my spine
1,030When you just discover this song 3 years late. Better late than never. This song is very pleasing to the ears. Well done, guys.
4,854"They say that I am the sick boy"

776Guy: "Iam the sick boy"
Police: "Hello there, 2weeks lookdown for u"
I think this song is about the fact that self-esteem and character are things more important than fame and money. I also think that The Chainsmokers wanted to express through their amazing and meaningful lyrics the fact that the value of a person is not measured in likes or good feedbacks from others.Character is more important than fame. Fame brings you money but you can't buy character with money. Character makes the difference between the true valuable people and cheap ones. There will always be people who will like you for your true self.
612In addition, stay authentic because fame is something temporary. True fans will always stay with you while the fake ones will leave you as soon as you stop pleasing them.
I'm a Chainsmokers fan until the end no matter what.
ALL MY LOVE AND RESPECT TO THE CHAINSMOKERS AND THEIR FANS.
everyone give a round of applause for the drummer and pianoist
115Everybody is taking about the audio but anyone noticed how awesome the visuals are ?
