Sia - You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile (2014 Film Version)

This song makes me feel that one day everything will get better for us.

this movie was so peak back then 🥹✌️

My ah still here 😔

"Just because you see a smile, don't think you know what's going on underneath. A smile is a valuable tool, my dear. It inspires your friends, keeps your enemies guessing, and ensures no matter what comes your way, you're the one in control."

Even after 12 years your song fully makes sense

That really made me

If you here in 2025.... its been 10 years 😊❤

“Just because you see a smile don’t think you know what going on underneath. A smile is a valuable tool my dear, it inspires your friends, keeps your enemies guessing and ensures no matter what comes your way - YOU are the one in control.”

Miss these days😔

It's been almost 10 years and this movie still makes me cry

Anyone listening in 2024?

Now I get why this is Alastor favorite song.

Can we get back to this era…🤧

I could only imagine Alastors reaction to this

Come back here every time and I miss 2014-18 era 😢

I don’t know why whenever I hear this song and watch this video I start to cry… All the things we all’ve been through we shouldn’t stop smiling really…💔

"Smile my dear, you know you're never fully dressed without one!"

This song will stay in our hearts, even in 2022

This looks like a different planet from the one we live on today: crowded streets, people high-fiving strangers, big uncovered smiles, toddlers seeing stranger's faces. This should be the anthem when everything opens back up. This is the most upbeat song I've ever heard.

This song still brings so much happiness into the world. Annie is by far one of my favourite movies. Stay healthy and happy everyone❤

Literally when this first came out I was in a psych ward after a suicide attempt, the timing couldn't have been better and this song helped me feel something in such dark times, I still have my moments but have come further since then. Tysm Sia this really helped me when I needed it

Smile my friend , you're never fully dressed without one

The world should do this after lockdown

Hey, America
Let's turn it up
Yeah, check out our style
'Cause you know you're never fully dressed without a smile
Your clothes may be Chanel, Gucci
Your shoes crocodile
But, baby, you're never fully dressed without a smile

And if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for it all
You got all we need, got love and more
You're never fully dressed without a smile
And if you stand for something, you can have it all
'Cause if it's real, you'll open every door
You're never fully dressed without a smile

You're never fully dressed without a smile
You're never fully dressed without a smile

Ready or not
Give all we've got
Hey, you can't deny
That, baby, you're never fully dressed without a smile
Don't sink the boat
When you lose hope
I'll keep you alive
But, baby, you're never fully dressed without a smile

And if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for it all
You got all we need, got love and more
You're never fully dressed without a smile
And if you stand for something, you can have it all
'Cause if it's real, you'll open every door
You're never fully dressed without a smile

You're never fully dressed without a smile
You're never fully dressed without a smile

Now look at us
We pick it up
We set it on fire
'Cause you know you're never fully dressed without a smile
We show it out
We're playing now
We're living the life
But, baby, you're never fully dressed without a smile

And if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for it all
You got all we need, got love and more
You're never fully dressed without a smile
And if you stand for something, you can have it all
'Cause if it's real, you'll open every door
You're never fully dressed without a smile

You're never fully dressed without a smile
You're never fully dressed without a smile
You're never fully dressed without a smile

I miss when everything was like this. we didn’t have to worry about staying 6 feet away from people, wear masks, and be paranoid. hopefully we can show our smiles again without a mask and not having to keep a distance soon. but as of right now, please wear your masks! ❤️ it not only protects you, but it protects others aswell. it doesn’t just benefit you, but benefits other people. many people have different opinions on masks, but I hope we can one day get to something similar to how that day was again. normal.

Me: I want to move to New York

Mom: what..why?

Me: your never fully dressed without a smile!

Nobody:
World:
Alastor: You're never fully dressed without a smile!

Why can’t we make the world like this anymore 🥺🥺.

LET'S MAKE THIS SONG POPULAR AGAIN IN 2020! 😊

Edit: Is it popular yet?👴🏽

Who else just wants to sing this as loud as human possible?

this is the most adorable thing I’ve ever seen

2:51 when the guy eventually smiled that made me so happy 😭♥️ this vid is the purest thing I’ve ever seen

1:06 I started laughing so hard at his face. And I never realized Sia sang this song until now.

We sure need this more than ever. Loving each other, respecting each other and just plain out giving smiles to everyone. For a smile truly can go a long way.

these kids probably saved lives of people who wanted to end their lives
that day when they did that

who is here in 2020 because they need a smile?

Who else is watching this to actually smile during quarantine? Just me, oh ok

This is how we should fight coronavirus 😄😇
