I love you Guns n' Roses

A lot can happen in 16 years.. When this came out I was in and out of jail, addicted, and homeless. Now I have a husband, home and good job. This song and “Clover Cage - Faith In The Fire” are the two songs that helped me get through my depression. I just want people to know things do get better. We are in this together :) love you! We got you

With a guitar intro that has all the 80's kids banging their heads

Finally 2 Billion Views 🥹🔥

Guys, you've hit 2 billion views—you've deserved this for years. It's a huge achievement and proof that these classics never die. Congratulations! 🎉🎉🎉

Cant believe this song finally hit 2 billion views

2 billion views! Someday this song will be my childhood memory

The guitar solo is iconic. Lovely.

My mom named me Axel after you, Axl Rose. Greetings from Mexico.

back to this classic after watching Hathaway part 2

My nephews are experiencing this for the first time tonight at the Rose Bowl....may they know true greatness!

閃光のハサウェイに持ってきたの最高。ギギを見てる時の感覚って正にこうなんだと思う。

10/10 who has the idea to drop this banger in the New Gundam Hathaway movie

I was 19, in the hospital with a collapsed lung in 1988. The doctors couldn't get my lung to reinflate. Chest tubes, severe pain, I was losing will to live over eight days. Mtv played this song on repeat almost every hour in the hospital room. It encouraged me to keep going, not give up the fight to live. Finally, after lung surgery, I began my recovery. Guns n Roses will always be like an older brother who told me how precious I was and to not give up.

This song came out the very same year as Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack. There’s no way that’s just a coincidence. It was fate.

‘Falling in love with a Newtype girl and taking on the Earth Federation in a new, prototype Gundam mobile suit, whilst being the son of an accomplished war hero officer who fought alongside the man indirectly responsible for the death of your first love during a massive war, taking on the identity of a terrorist to do so’ type beat

This was my Grandpa’s favorite song. He sang it to me as a kid. The day after he died I woke thinking I would be seeing him, hoping it was a bad dream, it wasn’t. I went to my grandmas house and found a CD labeled “Sean” (my name), My first and favorite grandson.
It had this song in it and I started crying.

Gone, but not forgotten

Anyone today ?❤❤❤❤❤

The guitar solo makes you levitate

Another proof of how great 80s music is...

Arguably one of the most iconic opening guitar riffs in the history of music........

Guns n roses da 🐐

When bands created real music, never to be repeated ❤️

Imagine how much of a banger it was for the people who were at the concert the first time they performed this

Hands down the greatest opening guitar riff ever, slash has always been my favorite member of guns & roses and one of my favorite guitarists of all time, the man has some serious chops!!!

"If you ever feel lost, just look in the eyes of the people you love."

My mom danced to this song when she was pregnant with me. She passed away a year ago and every time I hear this song I bawl❤️

A lot of folks get caught on the intro, as they should - it's one of the most memorable and signature openings of all time. However, for me the solo of this song starting around the 3:05 mark till the end is one of the best if not THE best complete solo in a song. Build up, anticipation, note selection, crescendo.. all put together perfectly.

Sure there are more technical solos and some that evoke more emotion, however this one to me has all of the best parts of a great solo turned to 11

I’ve waited my whole life to see these guys play this song live and in a few weeks it’s going to be happening and I have got VIP Backstage passes and im taking the woman of my dreams with me. Edit footnote the concert is being postponed until November 2022

We'll never see a band like this ever again

34 years later and we still don’t know where we go now.

This song will play in the credits when the world ends.

Can we just appreciate that this has over a billion views

There’s not more music like this anymore

Where do we go now
Where do we go now

There is something really wrong with the people who disliked this song. I genuinely don't understand how can you not like it.

Fun Fact: Axle Rose hits higher octave notes than Beyoncé and Tina Turner...

"her hair reminds me of a warm safe place where as a child i would hide" only just noticed how deep that is as his dad or step dad would abuse axle and his sister when they where children.

CADÊ OS BRASILEIROS DE CORAÇÃO OUVINDO ESSE 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷✌✌✌✌❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

My dad used to put me this song when I was a kid. I was probably the only nerd at school that liked rock. LOL

My parents were God and Goddess
because they didn't destroy my speakers when I was playing this song at the maximum volume every day in 1987.

These days you rarely can find good music like this one.

Thus, the 80's were the greatest Musical Era in human history...
